The JetBeats will make a pilgrimage to Liverpool in 2016

The JetBeats would like to announce that in May of 2016, the group will take a trip across the pond to play a 2 night stint at the historic Cavern Club in Liverpool, UK. The group will participate in the Liverpool International Pop Overthrow festival, held at The Cavern Club. Details to come in early 2016. While in Liverpool, the band is trying to also book a show at the historic Casbah Coffee Club - former Beatle's drummer Pete Best's home on Haymans Green, where the Beatles played many shows in the early years. Other possible shows could be booked at the historic Lathom Hall in Liverpool and in Manchester. If you're planning a European holiday next May, you may want to come out and visit us in Liverpool!

Also, The JetBeats are included in Volume18 of the International Pop Overthrow compilation, with their rousing track "How You Got The Girl". Get your hands on it, it's ace. Lots of great tracks from the best unsigned bands in the world.

The JetBeats will also participate in the IPO event in Detroit in April of 2016. The group is looking forward to a very exciting year ahead!

The JetBeats find their man!

As many of you may know, The JetBeats have been searching for a while for that perfect 4th member to add on guitar/vocals. Well we found him. The JetBeats, last fall, added Pete Dunning on lead guitar and vocals. Pete is a stellar guitarist with an impressive pedigree and, most importantly, a passion for fabulous 60's sound. Come see him do his thing at The Tip Top Deluxe this month on February 28th!

JetBeats to release debut album!

The JetBeats put the finishing touches on their debut 7-track record, called SONIC BOOM BOOM. The record is produced by Tommy Schichtel at his Goon Lagoon Studio in Grand Rapids. Tommy, besides producing, plays in several top notch retro-flavored bands himself including The Concussions, The FuzzRites and The B-Sides. Recorded completely in analog, the record harkens back to the sounds of those early 60’s classics. The Record also features amazing guest musicians such as Dave Stanton on guitar, Bruce Madden on harp and Chris Corey on the Wurlitzer. We’re very excited and continue writing material for our next release!
